Pictures of Mum’s Funeral, 11^th February 2004

Ivy Miriam (Kitty) Bain, nee Lee, was cremated at Wilford Hill crematorium on Wednesday 11^th February, 2004.

In attendance were:

Ken Bain – her grandson and adopted son

Jeanette Bain – her (grand)daughter-in-law

Graham & Colin Bain – her (great) grandsons

Lee Prebble – her nephew (sister Gert’s son) and his girlfriend Claudia

Sandra Van Eeden – her neice (sister Gert’s daughter)

Fiona Hobbs (nee Lee) – her neice (brother Jack’s daughter)

Sue Bain – her ‘informally’ adopted daughter

Vance Owen, owner of the Westcliffe Country House residential home where she died, and members of staff Margaret and Philippa.

Liz Day & Jane Kern – close friends of Ken & Jeanette, who had helped with the preparations.

Some photographs were taken, but the Westcliffe staff had already had to leave by the time they were taken. The group photographs were taken after Lee and Claudia had gone very early, for domestic reasons.
